Emily Chibwana

Emily Chibwana lives and breathes creativity, from the way she engages her four children in their homeschooling journey, to the words she writes in picture books manuscripts and the illustrations she creates to complement them.

Emily is a dreamer. She dreams of a world where art is seen for what it is: essential to the human condition. She believes that every soul on Earth has the power to create and innovate, and she is grateful that she gets to spend her days learning and growing through art.

When it comes to painting, Emily rarely sticks to one medium. She loves working with watercolours, acrylics, inks, polymer clay, paper art, and digital media. She often uses a combination of these to complete her work.

Her goal in life is to leave the world a little brighter than she found it.

My art is a reflection of my values. It is about helping women viewers grow, evolve and understand that it is ok to be who they are, in whatever form that looks like.
