Tracey grew up in Melbourne and has close family ties in Tasmania. She paints in oils, and loves both portraiture and landscape painting.
Tracey's daughters feature in many of her portraits, and as figurative elements within her landscapes. Tracey's travels in Europe, particularly in Greece, influence her paintings. Tracey's current obsession is Byzantine icons, and the spiritual beauty of their austere art irradiated by sumptuous colours has inspired her recent work.
Tracey is a member of and exhibits with The Victorian Artists' Society, Doncaster and Templestowe Artists' Society and Thou Art Mum, and also attends tonal painting classes at Montsalvat.
